O papel da célula de inovação tecnológica do Hospital Naval Marcílio Dias.
Abstract
The Hospital Naval Marcílio Dias, as a Scientific, Technological and Innovation Institution (ICT-HNMD), is a direct public ad-ministration institution of the Brazilian Navy (Marinha do Brasil – MB). The HNMD’s institutional mission is to contribute to the effectiveness of the Navy Health System, providing medical and hospital care of medium and high complexity, special-izing personnel by applying courses in their area of competence and carrying out the planning and
execution of biomedical research activities of interest to the country, in line with the Science and Technology Strategy of the Brazilian Navy. Within this structure, a Technological Innovation Cell (CIT-HNMD) was established, defined by the Brazilian Navy’s science and technology doctrine as the body responsible for supporting the management of the ICT innovation policy, technically and functionally linked to the Navy’s Technological Innovation Center and having its
competences described in § 1st of art. 16 of Law No. 10,973/2004. The objective of this study is to report the trajectory, experiences, and evolution of the CIT-HNMD since its creation, describing its characteristics, obstacles, and successes to guide future decision-making and consolidate the ICT-HNMD in the MB.
