O The silver road from Potosi to Seville (16th and 17th centuries)

Abstract
This article has as object the regular crossing, during XVI and XVII centuries, of the silver of the Cerro de Potosi through the Oceans Pacific and Atlantic, since its extraction in the Andean Mountain, its improvement and its transport until Seville. The Carrera de Indias , for carrying an important part of the Spanish economy, was done by regular form, for traced routes already and through armed convoys against the piracy. Our objective was to trace a quick analysis of the logistic, social and economic conditions of the Carrera de Indias in its South American branch.
